David H Jones lives in Lambourn with a studio at Foxbury Farm overlooking the Lambourn Downs. His abstract paintings explore the physical and nourishing properties of colour. Inspiration comes from the changing palette of the seasons and an interest in nature's geometry and patterns. By contemplative process of repetitive mark-making. and over-painting he creates colourful and richly textured surfaces which he hopes will please the viewer.
